About the Role

As an Research Intern, you will support foundational research efforts, contribute to the development of research papers, and assist in creating analytical insights that guide the company’s strategic decisions. This role provides exposure to applied economics, business research, policy analysis, and internal strategy development.


You will work closely with the partners' office to explore economic trends, business models, industry dynamics, and internal scalability frameworks. This is a work-from-office role designed for individuals who have a strong interest in research, data analysis, and contributing to long-term organisational growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct secondary research on economic trends, MSME development, policy updates, business environments, and market behaviour.

  • Support the drafting, structuring, and editing of research papers and analytical reports.

  • Gather, organise, and interpret data from reliable economic and industry sources.

  • Assist in building internal frameworks, models, and insights that support the company’s long-term scalability plans.

  • Prepare summaries, briefs, and concept notes based on ongoing research activities.

  • Track relevant news, government schemes, industry developments, and global economic movements.

  • Support the creation of presentations and documentation for internal strategic discussions.

  • Maintain research archives and databases for future reference.

  • Collaborate with leadership on special research-based projects and long-term planning.

Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, Business, or related fields.

Skills:

  • Strong research, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and summarise complex information effectively.

  • Good writing skills for drafting research notes and reports.

  • Basic understanding of economic principles, market structures, and data interpretation.

  • Familiarity with MS Excel, Google Sheets, and presentation tools.

  • Curiosity-driven mindset with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Experience:

  • No prior experience required; open to freshers or students.

  • Prior academic research work or exposure to analytical projects is an added advantage.

Other Job Details

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (work-from-office).

  • Training: Guidance provided on research methodologies, data interpretation, report writing, and internal strategic frameworks.
